We have been working out of our office on Doctor P.J. Thomas Avenue in Injambakkam for a while now. It is a quiet spot, just off the main road, which is nice when you are trying to sit down and talk through big life plans with students. Basically, we handle the paperwork and the confusing steps that come with trying to study in a different country. It isn't always straightforward. There are visas to figure out and colleges that have all sorts of different requirements. Most people who come in here are a bit stressed at first. We just sit around the table and go through the list one thing at a time. It takes as long as it takes. Dealing with universities overseas involves a lot of back-and-forth emails and waiting for replies, which can be annoying. We try to keep track of all that so the families don't have to worry as much. The office at No. 164/27B is where everything happens. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a practical space with desks and some files. Some days are busier than others, especially when application deadlines are coming up.
