If you are looking for us, Dhanvanthri Ayurvedic Clinic is located at No 15 Rukumani Illam. It is right on the Prithivipakkam Main Road in the Ambattur area. We are very close to Lavanya Travels, so if you see their buses, you know you are in the right spot. Prithivipakkam is a busy neighborhood and the main road gets a lot of traffic, especially during the morning rush. Rukumani Illam is an older building, which gives the clinic a bit of a homey feel rather than a cold, clinical one. I usually arrive around eight to open the shutters. The clinic isn’t very large, just a few rooms where we do the consultations and the massages. We have those heavy wooden tables that have been around for years. Sometimes the smell of the oils gets quite strong, but most people say they find it relaxing. We don’t have any big advertisements or anything like that. People in Ambattur just know we are here. Sometimes the rain causes a bit of a puddle right in front of our entrance, so you have to watch your step. We try to keep the place tidy, but with people coming and going, there’s always a bit of dust. It’s just a regular local clinic where we do our work. We don't use any fancy technology, just the traditional methods that have been passed down. It’s a steady kind of life here on the main road, seeing familiar faces every day.
