Dhanvantari Ayurveda & Yoga Clinic

Our clinic is on 4th Street over in Surendra Nagar, which is part of Adambakkam here in Chennai. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s usually not too loud, which helps with the yoga part of what we do. Dhanvantari Ayurveda & Yoga Clinic isn't some big glass building. It’s just a regular place where we set out mats and keep our supplies. We’ve got some rooms for the Ayurvedic side of things and a space where people can move around for yoga. It gets a bit hot in Chennai, as everyone knows, so we do our best with the fans and keeping the windows open when there’s a breeze. People from Adambakkam come by after work or early in the morning. We know a lot of the neighbors by name. It’s a nice way to run a business. We don't do a lot of fancy talking about what we do. We just show people the stretches or give them the herbs they need. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with parked scooters, but that’s just life in the city. We spend our days mostly organizing classes and making sure the oils are stocked up. It’s practical work. We like the routine of it all. It’s just us on 4th Street, doing what we know how to do for whoever stops by. We aren't trying to change the world, just helping out our local neighbors when we can.
