Dappl Applications and Products is situated over in Guindy at the Olympia Teknos building. We are up on Level 8 and 9, so we have a pretty good view of the Sidco Industrial Estate from up here. Guindy is always buzzing with people and traffic because of all the factories and offices nearby. Being in No 28 makes it easy for us to get to the metro or the main road when we finish up for the day. Our space is split between those two floors and it’s where all the work on our applications happens. It is a more modern building than some others in the area, but inside we keep things fairly relaxed. We don't have those strict corporate rules that some of the giant firms have. We just expect everyone to do their bit and keep the products moving along. The air conditioning is usually blasting because the Chennai heat is no joke, especially in an industrial zone like this. We have our computers and some meeting rooms, but mostly it is just open spaces where we talk about what needs to be fixed or updated. It can get a bit loud during lunch hours when everyone heads out at the same time, but otherwise, it’s a solid place to work. We spend our hours here developing things and checking for bugs. It’s a lot of screen time, but the team is used to it. We just stay here and do the work.
