Dalli Infotech is over in West Mambalam at New No:34 on Vadivelpuram Street. If you know Chennai, you know West Mambalam is a really crowded and tight-knit area with lots of narrow streets and shops everywhere. Our street is no different, really. It can be a bit of a squeeze getting a car down here, so most of us just walk from the station or use two-wheelers. The office is in a regular building, nothing that stands out too much from the outside. We’ve been here for a bit now, just doing our thing with info technology. It gets pretty humid in this part of the city, especially during the summer months, but we manage. Inside, it’s just desks, computers, and a few chairs for when we need a break. We aren't the type of company that puts up big slogans on the walls. We just come in, log on, and get to work on whatever needs doing that day. West Mambalam has a specific feel to it, very traditional and busy, and we’ve become part of that daily rhythm. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall around the corner when the afternoon slump hits. There is always something going on outside on Vadivelpuram Street, but we stay focused on the monitors. It’s a honest living and we like the location despite the traffic. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a group of people working together in a familiar neighborhood.
