It is a fairly quiet area compared to the middle of the big city, which is nice when you need to concentrate. The layout is mostly residential, so we have houses all around us. You can usually hear birds or the occasional motorbike passing by outside. Our office is a straightforward space where we handle our daily business. We don't have any flashy signs or big corporate decorations. It is just a regular building where we set up our equipment and get to work every morning. The walk from the main road isn't too long, and most of us like the bit of exercise before sitting down for the day. Udumalpet has a different feel than the heart of Chennai or even downtown Coimbatore. It’s a bit more relaxed here. We have a routine that keeps us busy from Monday to Friday. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, and the streetlights in the layout are the only things on. The space inside is mostly just desks and chairs and a lot of power strips. It works for what we need. It's a humble spot but it’s where all the work actually happens for us.
