Our place is over in Gerugambakkam, specifically at Villa 33 in the Poojaa Diamond Villas complex on Bharathi Nagar. It’s a bit unusual for a tech company to be based in a villa, but it works out well for us. It feels a lot more relaxed than a standard office building with elevators and grey walls. We have our desks set up in the main rooms, and there is a lot of natural light coming in, which is a nice change from the typical fluorescent office lights. Being in a residential area like this means it is mostly quiet, except for the occasional delivery bike or neighbors chatting. We spend our time working on various tech projects, and because it’s a small operation, we all pitch in on whatever needs doing. Gerugambakkam is a bit of a trek from central Chennai, but we like it because it’s more peaceful. We usually have some music playing in the background while we code or answer emails. It doesn't feel like a high-pressure environment, which actually helps us get more done without getting stressed out. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. We just want to do good work and enjoy our time while we’re doing it, without all the corporate headaches you find in the big city offices. It suits our style just fine.
