Creative Packaging Systems

Creative Packaging Systems is located at No. 195/A on the Service Road in Somjibhai Nagarkallikuppam, Chennai. Being on the service road is actually quite handy because it’s easier for the trucks to pull in and out when they’re picking up orders. Chennai is always warm, and the humidity here can be something else, especially when you’re working around large packaging machines. We’ve got a lot of space for our equipment and all the rolls of material we use. It’s not the quietest place to work, as the machines make a fair bit of noise and there’s the traffic from the road right outside. We’ve been here in Somjibhai Nagar for a while and we’ve gotten to know the regular drivers and the local shopkeepers. Our team is small, mostly just local people who live nearby. We don’t really go in for fancy meetings or long presentations. If a customer needs boxes or packing materials, we just show them what we have and see if it works for them. The floor is usually covered in scraps of cardboard and tape, but that’s part of the process. We clean up at the end of every day and start again the next morning. It’s steady work. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure that things get packed up properly so they don't break. That’s the long and short of it for us here on the service road.
