Create Tech

We set up Create Tech over on Nsk Road in Vaanuvampet. It’s at number 360. Vaanuvampet is a neighborhood where people mostly know each other, and we like being part of that. We do tech work, as the name suggests. It could be anything from fixing a broken piece of hardware to helping someone figure out their software. We don't have a big team. It’s just a couple of us who know our way around a computer. The shop isn’t anything special to look at. We have our benches and our tools, and that’s about it. We get a lot of walk-ins from the street because Nsk Road is fairly busy. People usually bring things in that they can’t fix themselves. We try to be honest about how long it will take. Sometimes it's a quick fix, other times we have to wait for parts to come in. We don’t use any fancy talk or try to sell people stuff they don’t need. It’s just about getting things back in working order. The days can be long when there’s a lot of work piled up, but we just take it one thing at a time. We’ve been here long enough that people recognize us now. It’s a decent living and we enjoy the hands-on nature of the work we do every single day of the week.
