If you know Chennai, you know how busy Arcot Road can get. Our office is right there in Kodambakkam, situated at F3 in the building that has both an old number 333 and a new number 118. It can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers, but we’ve managed to make it home. Kodambakkam is the heart of the cinema world here, so there is always a lot of energy in the air. Our space is functional and a bit cramped, but it gets the job done. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit with all the construction and new shops. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and a tiny pantry area where we keep the kettle. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in fancy suits. We usually just wear whatever is comfortable for the weather. Most of our day is spent at our computers, dealing with the usual daily tasks that keep a company running. Sometimes the traffic noise from Arcot Road gets a bit loud, but we just turn up the fan and keep going. We don’t have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in every morning, do what we need to do, and try to finish up by the time the evening traffic peak hits. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way of working that suits us just fine.
