Computer Operator

You can find Computer Operator at No. 41, Maraikayer Street, right in the Mannady area of Chennai. It’s a very old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and always full of people, carts, and bikes. Our place is a bit tucked away, which is actually kind of nice when you need to focus. The building has been here for a long time, and our office inside is just a few rooms filled with computers and old chairs. It’s 600 001 Tamilnadu, so we are right in the heart of the action. We do all sorts of computer tasks, mostly things that involve a lot of typing and looking at rows of data. It gets pretty loud outside with the street vendors shouting and the motorbikes zooming past, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We have a small balcony where we sometimes go to get some air, though it’s mostly just looking at more old buildings and rooftops. The furniture is a bit mismatched and old, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day of work. We don’t have any big corporate signs out front or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or if they happen to live in the same neighborhood. We just do our work, drink our tea when the boy brings it, and then head home. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve been part of the Mannady community for a while.
