Comptel

Comptel is located on the first floor of Spencer Plaza, specifically at F 39 in Phase II. The address is No 769 Anna Salai, right on Mount Road. Spencer Plaza is one of those old landmarks in Chennai that everyone knows. Being inside a mall means our day is a bit different from a street-side shop. We have the air conditioning, which is nice during the Chennai summers, but we also deal with the maze of corridors that visitors sometimes get lost in. We are mostly into computer stuff and technical things. The shop isn’t huge, but we have enough room for our workstations and the parts we keep on hand. We spend a lot of our time looking at screens or taking apart hardware to see what’s wrong. Since we are in Phase II, it’s a bit quieter than the main entrance, but we still get a steady stream of people who are looking for tech help. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we’ve seen the mall change as newer ones opened up elsewhere. But Anna Salai is still the heart of the city, so we get plenty of folks stopping by after work. We aren't about big sales pitches or shiny brochures. We just sit here, fix what needs fixing, and help people understand their gadgets a bit better while the mall lights hum in the background.
