Our office is on the first floor, number 14/15, over on Pondicherry Road in the Kottur area of Chennai. This is a busy city, and Kottur has its own unique rhythm that we’ve come to enjoy. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite some time now. It’s not a very big space, but it fits our small team just fine. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly involving writing and communication tasks. It involves a lot of sitting at desks and thinking things through. Sometimes the air conditioning has a hard time keeping up with the Chennai humidity, but we manage to get the work done anyway. We aren't some big media house with hundreds of employees in suits. It’s just a handful of us who actually care about the quality of what we produce. You won’t find any marble floors or fancy modern art on the walls here. Just lots of books, papers, and half-empty coffee mugs. We like this neighborhood because it feels like a real community. There are little shops nearby where we grab our lunch or snacks during breaks. We don't really follow a corporate script when we talk to people. If someone calls the office, they talk to a real person, not an automated machine. We take our work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously at all. It’s just a practical way to run a small business. We focus on getting the words right every day without making a big fuss about it.
