We are over in Valasarawakkam, located on Arcot Road. The address is a bit confusing because it has an old number, 164, and a new one, 50. Most people just know us as being opposite Hot Chips. That’s a good landmark because everyone around here knows where to get a snack. Our office is a typical tech space, though maybe a bit more lived-in than the ones you see in movies. There are cables everywhere and stacks of hardware that we're either working on or moving out. It’s not the quietest place, especially with the Arcot Road traffic right there. You can always hear the horns and the buses. We have a few desks pushed together and some stools for when we need to look at a screen together. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and typing. We don’t really go for a corporate look; it’s more about having the tools we need within reach. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down, which is a real problem for us. The lighting is fluorescent and bright. We’ve been at this location for a while now, so the neighborhood feels familiar. We see the same people walking to the bus stop every morning. It’s a steady kind of life, focused on getting the technical stuff right. We just show up, do the work, and hope the traffic isn't too bad when it's time to head home.
