Codychem

We’re based at No. 24 on Ritherdon Road in Vepery, though some older locals still call it No. 50 because of the old numbering system. Codychem has been part of this neighborhood for a good while. Vepery is a nice enough place, though it gets quite congested during the school run hours when the traffic slows to a crawl. Our building is pretty plain, just a regular door on a regular street, but it’s where all the business happens. We handle chemical-related items, so we have to be quite careful and organized with how we store things in the back. It’s not the kind of job where you can be sloppy or forgetful. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a handful of us making sure everything is labeled and shipped out correctly to whoever needs it. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking invoices at our desks. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just saw a need for these products and decided to set up shop here. We don't do much in the way of advertising because we don't really have the time for it. Mostly, people find us because they need what we have in stock. The office has some old furniture and a calendar that’s usually a day behind, but it gets the job done. We’re just regular people trying to run a reliable business.
