Being up that high gives us a pretty good view of R.A. Puram and the rest of Chennai. The building is one of those big ones, but our office inside is just a normal workspace. It’s not like those tech startup offices with beanbags and ping pong tables. We just have standard desks and some pretty okay chairs. It’s a professional enough environment, but we keep things light. There’s always someone making a joke or complaining about the commute. The elevator wait can be long during lunch, so we usually try to time our breaks. We spend a lot of time on calls or writing code, so it’s often quiet except for the sound of typing. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to work.
