Our office is located at number 79 on North Mada Street, right near the Pe Koil in Ayanavaram. If you are from this part of Chennai, you know how busy this street gets, especially during the festival times at the temple. We operate Cms Computer Ltd from this spot, and the sound of the temple bells and the traffic is just a constant background for us. The building is an old one, and our space is a bit cramped with desks and stacks of computer hardware. We handle a lot of technical service calls and repairs here. It gets very humid, so we usually have a couple of fans going at full speed. The walls are lined with shelves that are overflowing with old manuals and spare parts that we might need someday. We have a small crew, and we’ve all been together for a while, so we just get on with it. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We don't have any fancy signage or a big lobby. You just come in through the main door and we are right there working on something. It’s a practical setup for a business that’s been in the neighborhood for years. Most of our regulars are local businesses or families who live a few streets over. We just focus on the machines and the paperwork and try to stay cool in the heat.
