We are situated at number 8 in the Sai Kirupa Apartments, which is in the New Secretariat Colony on 1st Street in Velachery. If you know Chennai, you know Velachery can get pretty crowded, especially with the rain and the traffic near the malls. But tucked away in the colony, it's actually not too bad. Our office is more like a converted apartment space, which makes it feel a bit more like home than a cold office building. We have a kitchen area where we keep our snacks and a small balcony where some of us go to get a bit of fresh air. The rooms are filled with desks and computers. We started Climbers Techno Solutions because we wanted a place where we could just work on tech stuff without all the corporate drama. We don't have a HR department with a hundred policies; we just sort things out as they come up. Most days involve a lot of coding and testing. We’ve got a lot of books piled up in the corners and some old hardware we haven't gotten around to throwing away yet. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We usually head out for a walk in the evening once the sun goes down a bit. It’s a practical, local setup that suits the way we like to work. It works well for our small team.
