City Bean Bag

City Bean Bag is located on the first floor at 33/6 Venkatanaryana Road. If you know where Dakshin Hotel is in Nandanam, we are right across from it. It’s a straightforward shop where we have different sizes and colors of bean bags sitting around. People come in to sit on them and see what feels comfortable for their homes or offices. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, but once you’re inside, there’s plenty to look at. We spend a lot of time helping people pick out the right fabric or filling. It isn’t a high-pressure place. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times we have three families in at once trying everything out. Nandanam is a good area, though parking can be a bit of a headache on this road during peak hours. We handle the stitching and the filling right here or nearby, so there is often a bit of a mess with foam beads if we aren't careful. We just like making things that people can relax in. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know a lot about chairs. It is a simple business. We keep our hours regular, and we are usually around to answer questions if someone walks in off the street. It’s just us doing our thing in a corner of Chennai.
