If you're looking for us, we are right there in Choolai. It’s on A. P. Road, up on the second floor. It’s the building just above the Canara Bank on Choolai High Road. You have to walk up the stairs, which can be a bit much when it's hot outside, but it's quiet once you get inside. We have been here for a while now. Most days it’s just us surrounded by piles of clothes and rolls of fabric. There’s always someone coming in and out, usually people from the neighborhood who know where we are. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just a workspace where things get done. Sometimes the fan makes a lot of noise, but we get used to it. The area is always busy with traffic, especially near the bank downstairs. We spend our mornings checking the stock and getting orders ready. If the delivery guys are late, things get a bit messy, but that's just how it goes here. We try to keep things organized, even if it doesn't always look like it to a stranger. It’s a regular small business life in Chennai. We’ve got a window that looks out over the road, though the view is mostly just buses and motorcycles. We like it here because everyone knows us. It feels like home after all these years.
