Indraya Velaanmai

We are over at No-2 Muthamil Street in Ponniamman Nagar, which is part of the Chitlapakkam area. The name Indraya Velaanmai is on the door, but it’s a pretty low-key setup we have here. We deal with things related to farming and agriculture, which means we talk a lot about the weather and the soil. The office is tucked away in a residential-feeling part of Muthamil Street, so it isn't as loud as the main roads. We have a few desks and some chairs for people to sit when they come in to talk. It’s mostly just us going through records or planning out what needs to be done for the next season. Ponniamman Nagar is a nice place to work, and we’ve gotten to know the people living around here quite well. We don't use any fancy business talk or complicated strategies. We just look at what’s in front of us and try to make sensible decisions. Sometimes we spend the whole morning just organizing seeds or checking on equipment lists. It’s practical work that doesn't need a lot of fuss. The building is a bit old, so the floors creak when you walk on them, but it’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day. We usually close up early on Saturdays to get some rest. It’s just a regular local business doing its part in Chitlapakkam, and we’re happy to keep it that way for as long as we can.
