Childs Trust Hospital

Childs Trust Hospital is located right in the heart of Nungambakkam. It’s a place that has seen a lot of kids grow up over the years. If you live around here, you probably know where we are without needing a map. We don’t have a massive sign or anything too flashy, just a building where we get to work every day. The atmosphere is usually a bit hectic because kids aren’t the most patient patients, if you know what I mean. There’s always a lot of activity at the entrance. We have a team of people who have been working together for quite a while, so we kind of have our own rhythm. It isn't always perfect, and sometimes the wait times are longer than we'd like on a Tuesday morning, but that’s just how it is in a busy neighborhood like this. The rooms are simple and functional. We don't spend much time on decorations because we’re mostly focused on the medical side of things. It can get loud with all the families coming in and out, but we’re used to it. We just try to provide a space where parents can bring their little ones when something is wrong. We’re part of the local landscape in Nungambakkam now. Most of us live nearby, so we see our neighbors coming through the doors quite often. It feels like a real community spot. We try to keep things grounded and practical for everyone.
