Chennai Gaskets & Engineering Products

We’ve been here at No.716 in Valthalambedu for quite some time now. Dealing with gaskets and engineering stuff isn't always the cleanest job, but it’s what we do every day. Kundrathur gets pretty hot during the summer, and the workshop can feel a bit cramped when we have a big order of gaskets to finish. Most of the time, you’ll find us surrounded by sheets of rubber and metal scraps. It’s noisy because of the machines running, and there’s usually a bit of dust in the air. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk with too many papers and the smell of industrial oil. People come by when they need something specific made or if they’re looking for a part they can’t find elsewhere. We spend most of our hours checking sizes and making sure the cuts are right. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and we take a quick break, then it’s back to the tools. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so there’s always trucks coming and going. It’s just us doing the work, day in and day out. We don’t really do much advertising. Most folks just know where we are in Kundrathur. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but we like it here. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but the machines work fine, and that’s what matters more at the end of the day.
