Capstone

Capstone is situated over at 231 Lingaiah Chetty Street in Mannady. If you know this part of the city, you know how narrow the streets can be and how much is always going on. It’s a very old area with a lot of history and a lot of small businesses packed in together. We operate out of a building that has seen better days, but it serves our purpose just fine. We handle a variety of items here, mostly stuff that fits the needs of the local trade. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking lists under the ceiling fans. The air in Mannady is always full of the smell of the sea and the sounds of horns honking from the nearby main roads. We don’t have a big front desk or anyone in a suit to greet you. Usually, you’ll just find someone in a half-sleeve shirt checking an invoice or talking to a delivery driver. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we try to get most of our heavy shipping done in the early morning hours. We’ve been on Lingaiah Chetty Street for a long time and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we just keep doing our thing. It’s a basic operation where we value getting the job done over looking fancy. Most of our regular visitors are people who have been dealing with us for many years. We just stay focused on the day-to-day work and keeping our inventory sorted out properly for whoever comes in next.
