Calfqueen Leather Boutique

We are tucked away at F-23-B in Spencer Plaza, specifically on the 1st Floor of Phase I on Anna Salai. Calfqueen Leather Boutique is our little corner of the mall. Spencer Plaza is a big place, and it can be a bit of a maze if you don’t know your way around the different phases. We’ve been in this unit for quite some time. It’s a compact space, filled mostly with bags, belts, and other leather goods we’ve gathered. We don’t have those bright, blinding lights you see in the new malls. It’s a bit more relaxed here. Customers usually wander in after looking at other shops. We like to chat with them about what they’re looking for. It’s not about high-pressure sales here. We just show what we have on the racks. Sometimes the air conditioning in the mall is a bit too cold, so we keep a sweater handy. Working in a place like Anna Salai means there’s always a crowd nearby, even if things are quiet inside the shop. We do our own inventory and keep our own books. It’s a hands-on type of business. We don’t use fancy software for everything. A lot of it is just written down in a ledger. We are just a small boutique trying to stay steady in a big city.
