Down in Ashok Nagar, specifically in West Manthopu Colony, you will find us at H 31 P. Chennai is a big, sprawling city but this little pocket of the 83 district has its own rhythm. We are Caarpus Technologies Services, though we don’t usually use the full private limited name when we’re just talking to people. Our office is tucked away in a residential area which is nice because it’s not as loud as the main roads. We have been in this colony for a bit now and we know the tea stall guy around the corner pretty well. The work involves a lot of computers and sitting at desks, as you might expect from a tech service place. We don’t have a big polished lobby with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just lets you in. The rooms are a bit small and we have cables running along the floor sometimes, but we know where everything goes. It’s an honest way to make a living and we enjoy being in this part of Chennai. Ashok Nagar has plenty of trees which helps with the heat, though the humidity still gets to us. We just keep our heads down and handle the service requests as they come in. It’s just a normal job for us and we like the people we work with every day in the colony.
