Anna University’s campus in Kotturpuram is where we are based. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with students and faculty moving around all the time. Our forum is a place where people interested in technology gather to talk and work on things. It is not a formal office by any means. It feels more like a workshop or a study room most of the time. We have tables pushed together and cables running across the floor for various projects. People come in and out between their classes to check on things or help each other out with technical problems. Being at the university means there is always someone around with a question or a new idea. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, people find us through word of mouth or by just being on campus. The air conditioning sometimes struggles when there are too many people in the room, but we deal with it. It is a practical space for practical people. We aren't doing anything fancy; we are just providing a spot for students to get together and look at tech stuff. Most of our members are busy with their own degrees, so the activity levels go up and down depending on when exams are happening. It is just a regular part of the university life here in Chennai and we like the energy of the place. It keeps things interesting for everyone involved.
