Bookbozz

We are over in Nerkundram. If you like books, you’d probably like our place, though it’s not much to look at from the outside. We started Bookbozz because we had way too many books and decided to make a business out of it. Now we have stacks and stacks of them. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We have everything from school books to old novels. The shelves are mostly full, so we have boxes on the floor too. It’s not a quiet library. There’s always someone moving boxes or packing orders. We spend a lot of time sorting. People in Nerkundram know we are here, and we get a lot of regulars. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign. We just use the space we have. The air in here always smells like old paper. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s part of the deal. We try to keep track of where everything is, but sometimes a book just goes missing for a few days. We don't use a complicated computer system for everything. A lot of it is just remembering which pile a book is in. We deal with individual buyers and some local schools too. It’s a lot of heavy lifting when new shipments come in. We just keep going because there’s always someone looking for something to read. It’s a simple life.
