Welcome Colony is exactly what it sounds like—a quiet residential pocket where people know their neighbors. Our office is a simple place where we handle our software projects. As an LLP, we keep things pretty grounded. There’s no big hierarchy here. We all sit in the same room and usually eat lunch together. The office doesn’t have any fancy signage, just a small nameplate so people know they’ve found the right door. Anna Nagar Extn is a good place for us because it’s easy for most of the team to get to, though the traffic can be a headache during the morning rush. Inside, the walls are a light color that’s starting to show some wear. We have a few mismatched chairs and some old filing cabinets that we’ve had since we started. It isn't a high-end tech hub with bean bags and free snacks. It’s a place where we do hard work and sometimes complain about the humidity. We like the quiet of Welcome Colony because it helps us focus on what we’re doing. There’s a small park nearby where some of us go for a quick walk when we’ve been sitting for too long. It’s just a normal, local business doing its thing.
