Bharath Impexz

Our place is at 65 Acarappan Street on the first floor. You have to walk up the stairs to get to us. It is an old building and sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep if you are carrying something heavy. We have been doing this for some time now. Being on the first floor means we are a bit away from the street noise but we still hear the horns honking down below. Bharath Impexz is basically just a few of us working together in a couple of rooms filled with files and boxes. It is not the most organized looking place but we know where everything is kept. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for news on orders. The lighting isn't great in the back room so we mostly stay near the front windows when we can. It’s a bit of a maze with all the crates stacked up. We don't really do much advertising or anything. Most people just know us through word of mouth or because they have been coming to Acarappan Street for years. It’s a steady kind of life. We get here early and leave when the work is finished. Sometimes that's late and sometimes it's not. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the paperwork is sorted out before the day ends. It is just how things go.
