Bestsoft & Tech

Our office is tucked away on the first floor of an old building on Thoppu Street. If you know Triplicane, you know how narrow those lanes can be, especially near Old No.6. Bestsoft & Tech is basically just a bunch of us working on computers in a room that gets quite a bit of light in the afternoons. It isn’t a massive glass building or anything like that, just a regular place where we get our work done. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people heading to the temple or the market. Sometimes we have to step out just to get a bit of quiet or a quick tea from the stall downstairs. We spend most of our hours looking at screens and typing away. The floorboards sometimes creak if you walk too fast. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage fine. Most of our day is spent fixing things or trying to figure out why a piece of software isn’t doing what it is supposed to. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy chairs. It is mostly just desks, cables everywhere, and some old files stacked in the corner. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just part of being in this neighborhood. We usually take that time to talk about things other than computers and wait for the lights to come back on.
