Banyan Informatics

You can find us over on Kumarappa Street in Nungambakkam. We are at Plot No.19 / 15, and it’s a pretty typical street for this part of town. Banyan Informatics has been based here for a while, and we’ve grown fond of the neighborhood. The office is a mix of old desks and new computers, which gives it a bit of character. We aren't into the whole corporate look, so don't expect matching uniforms or a fancy lobby. It’s just a place where we sit down and work on software and data. Some of us have been here since the start, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. We take our breaks at the small stalls nearby and usually talk about anything but work for a few minutes. The afternoon sun hits the front windows pretty hard, so we usually have the blinds drawn then. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we do get our heads down when there is a deadline looming. We don't bother with big advertisements or fancy slogans. Word of mouth usually brings people to Kumarappa Street to see us. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually care about the code they write and the systems they build. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and enjoy the local rhythm of Nungambakkam life. It's not always perfect, but we make it through the week just fine with enough tea and patience.
