Bangs Bakery Pvt Ltd. is located on MKN Road in Guindy. The address has changed over time so it is Old No. 40 and New No. 67 but it is the same building. We are right near the Aruna Lodge and you can usually find us by following the smell of fresh bread. Our bakery is a busy place especially in the early hours of the morning. We start working long before most people are even awake to make sure the biscuits and bread are ready for the morning rush. The kitchen is the main part of our shop and it’s always warm because of the large ovens we use. We have a small counter where we sell our goods to the local people. It is often crowded and a bit noisy with people calling out their orders. We have a few staff members who have been baking with us for a long time and they really know their trade. We don't use many modern gadgets in our baking process. We still do a lot of things the old way because it tastes better. The floor is usually covered in a bit of flour by the end of the day despite our best efforts to keep it clean. We don't do any big promotions or advertising campaigns. Our customers come to us because they like our food and they have been coming here for years. It’s a simple business built on hard work and very early mornings.
