Our office is located in Gill Nagar, right on 3rd Cross Street. It’s a bit of a confusing spot because the address has two numbers, the old 99 and the new number 2. We often have to tell people to look for the building near the big tree rather than trusting the signs. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our computers. We started Bandi Informatics because we liked working with data and systems, and this neighborhood felt like a good, quiet place to set up shop. It isn't a high-rise building with a glass front. It’s just a regular floor in a regular building where the fans hum all day. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to figure out why a piece of software isn't doing what it should. Lunch is usually brought from home and we eat together at the big table in the back. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby with magazines. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up to open the door. We handle various tech tasks for people who need them. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all complain about it, but mostly we just get on with the work. It’s been a few years now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street outside. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to do our jobs well and get home in time for dinner.
