Backya Acupuncture Multispeciality Clinic is located in Perambur, which is a busy place, especially with the railway station so close. You can hear the trains pulling in if the wind blows the right way. Our clinic is on Ramachandran Street, at number 19/10. It is a bit tucked away, but people find us eventually. Acupuncture is what we do here, so there are a lot of small needles and quiet rooms. It stays pretty calm inside compared to the street noise outside. We spend the morning setting up the treatment tables and making sure the towels are clean. The floors are tile and easy to sweep, which is good because people track in dirt from the station area all the time. Sometimes the fans overhead click a little bit when they are on high, but nobody seems to mind. We have been in Perambur for a while now. The walk from the station is not too bad if you know the shortcuts. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door. Working in a multispeciality clinic means there is always something going on, but we try to keep things orderly. It is mostly just filing paperwork and talking to people who have aches and pains. By the time evening comes, the street gets crowded with people heading home from work. We usually lock up once the last person finishes their session.
