Baas Tech

Baas Tech is located at 3/499, Vpg Avenue in Mettukuppam, which is part of the Toraipakkam area. It is a bit of an interesting spot because we are near the big IT corridor but our building is much more modest. We have a small space where we handle all our technical work and testing. It isn't a sleek lab or anything like that. Usually, there are wires running across the tables and a few old computer monitors that we still haven't thrown away. The humidity in Chennai can be really tough, so the office usually feels a bit stuffy despite the small window unit we have. We don't have any big corporate signs out front, just a small sticker on the door so people know they have the right place. Most of our day is spent at the benches looking at components or writing up reports on our findings. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with half-finished projects taking up most of the desk space. We don't have a dedicated cleaning crew, so we just tidy up ourselves when the clutter gets to be too much. The commute through Mettukuppam can be a real pain with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and try to keep things running smoothly. It is a quiet, simple operation where we just focus on the technical tasks we have in front of us each day.
