Our place is located on 4th Street in Jeevan Nagar, which is part of Adambakkam. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you don’t know the area well. Avalon Technologies Pvt Ltd has been sitting here at number 3 for some time. The street is narrow, so parking a car can be a real headache if the neighbors have guests over. Most of us just take the train to St. Thomas Mount and then a short share-auto ride to get here. It’s a simple setup we have. We’ve got a couple of rooms with desks and plenty of wires running along the walls. The walls are a bit plain and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. Life in Adambakkam is busy but okay. There are plenty of small shops nearby to grab a quick lunch or a soda. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the internet is working and we have enough coffee, the day goes by fine. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and the street gets really quiet then. You can hear the distant sound of the city but here in Jeevan Nagar, it feels like its own little world. We’re just a small team trying to stay on top of our work without making a big scene about it.
