Arunraj

If you’re looking for us, we’re at 612, Velmurugan St, over in Shivaji Nagar. Cheyyar is a quiet enough place compared to the big cities, and our spot here is just a regular building on a regular street. Arunraj is the name on the door. T. V Malai district gets really hot during the day, so most of the time we are just trying to stay in the shade and keep cool. The street outside, Velmurugan St, is where most of the action happens, with people going about their business and the occasional motorbike zooming past. We don’t have a big team or a fancy reception area with a secretary. It’s more of a personal setup where we deal with things as they come. People in Tamil Nadu like to talk, so we spend a lot of time just chatting with whoever walks in through the door. It’s not like those big city offices where everything is rushed and everyone is on the phone. Here, we take our time with things. The building itself is old, but it works perfectly for what we need. We’ve got some old wooden furniture and a calendar on the wall that is usually a few days behind. It’s just how things are around here. We do our work, talk to the neighbors, and go home when the sun goes down. There’s a certain peace to being in a place like Shivaji Nagar. You know everyone.
