Arulappalam Depot

We’ve been over here at 3/43-E on E.V.R. Periyar Salai for a while now. Most folks just know the spot because it’s easy to find once you’re on the main road. Arulappalam Depot is just the name on the front, and we keep things pretty simple inside. There’s a lot of traffic out there usually, so you hear the horns and the buses going by all day. Our building isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place where we show up and get the work done. The door sticks a bit when it rains, but we're used to it. Sometimes the mailman gets confused with the numbers on this stretch of Periyar Salai, but we usually wave him down. It’s mostly just us sitting here handling what needs to be handled. We don't have a big lobby or a bunch of receptionists. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us at a desk or moving things around in the back. It’s quiet inside despite the noise from the street. We’ve grown fond of this little corner over the years. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but that’s not really a priority right now. We just focus on staying open and being here for whoever stops by. It’s a straightforward setup. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a local spot at 3/43-E.
