Our office is in the City Centre building on Purasawalkam High Road. We’re on the second floor in room 206. It’s a busy building in a very busy part of Chennai. If you’ve ever been on Purasawalkam High Road, you know it’s always crowded and noisy. We kind of like the energy of it. Appmetry Technologies is a small outfit. We focus on mobile apps and other tech bits. The office itself is a bit cramped because we have so much equipment and old notebooks lying around. We’ve been here for a while, transitioning between the old door numbers and the new ones, which can be confusing for the delivery guys. Being in the City Centre means we are close to everything. We can grab a quick bite or run an errand without going too far. We aren’t the type of company that has big meetings every hour. We mostly just sit at our desks and get on with the tasks. It’s a very practical environment. There’s no dress code, so you’ll see us in whatever was clean that morning. We started this because we liked the challenge of building apps that people actually use. It’s had its ups and downs, like any small business. We just keep showing up and doing the best we can with the tools we have. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living and we’re happy with it.
