Ananda Ragam

Ananda Ragam is our little place at No 121, Nehru High Road. We are quite close to the Nanganallur Bus Stop, which makes it handy for people coming and going. The building is older, but it has character. I spend most of my mornings setting things up before the traffic picks up outside. Nehru High Road is always moving, but inside here, things feel a bit more settled. We’ve had this spot in Nanganallur for many years. People stop in because they see the sign while waiting for their bus. It’s not a shiny corporate setup. We have simple wooden furniture and a few fans to keep the air moving. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out like everyone else on the block. We know the tea seller nearby and most of the regulars who walk past every day. It feels like a real community here. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us who know the routine. We do what we do without much fuss. If you’re ever stuck waiting for a ride at the bus stop, you can see our front door right there. It’s a plain place, but we take care of it. We like being part of the neighborhood and seeing the same faces year after year. It’s just how we operate.
