At Anadocs It Solutions, we work out of an apartment in Thiruvanmiyur. It’s No 9 in the H1 Block of Swagath Apartments, right in Thiruvalluar Nagar. It’s a bit different from a standard office building, but we find that it works better for us. We’ve got our computers set up where a living room would usually be. It’s a lot more comfortable than those cubicle farms you see in the big tech parks. Chennai weather can get pretty hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day. We handle a lot of IT stuff, mostly fixing things and organizing data for people. It’s not flashy work, but it’s important. We don’t wear suits or anything; most days it’s just jeans and t-shirts while we stare at screens. Sometimes the internet acts up, or a cable goes missing, and we all have to scramble to find it. That’s the reality of a small IT shop. We know the local shops around Thiruvanmiyur pretty well since that’s where we go for lunch. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure our clients' systems stay running. If you come by, you might hear us arguing about which code is better or what to order for a snack. It’s a real place with real people just doing their jobs.
