Rannjani Fashion

We set up shop at No. 150 Redhills Road in Pudur, which is part of the Ambattur area. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of horns and engines outside our windows. Rannjani Fashion is basically just a big room where we have all our sewing stations set up in rows. We’ve got a lot of different colored threads and needles scattered around the place. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the clothes to worry about that. On some days, it gets really humid, and we just have to keep the fans on full blast. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that; it’s just us and a few workers making sure the stitching is straight. We get our materials from local suppliers and we know most of them by name. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh when things go wrong, but we always fix it before the stuff leaves the shop. The people living around here in Pudur know us as the place that’s always got the lights on late at night. We just keep our heads down and work through the orders one by one. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied throughout the week. We’re just a small part of this busy neighborhood.
