Altra Systems Ashok Nagar

Our shop is on the ground floor of K G Sunshine Flat, which is right over on 12th Avenue in Ashok Nagar. We are quite close to Ashok Pillar, so it’s easy to find us if you know the area at all. We mostly work on systems and technical stuff here. It’s a small space, No 43/48, but it fits what we need. The team here isn't very large, but we’ve been working together for a while now. Most days are spent looking at parts or fixing whatever comes through the door. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist; you usually just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Ashok Nagar is a busy place, and being near the pillar means there's always something going on outside. We try to keep things simple. If something is broken, we look at it. If it needs a new part, we find it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Chennai, we just want to do a decent job for the people who live nearby. Some days are busier than others, especially when a lot of things seem to break at once. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when talking to customers because that just confuses people. We just tell you what's wrong and what it’ll take to get it running again. It’s a practical way to run a business and it seems to work for us.
