Our office for Alpha Star Trading Pvt. Ltd. is on the 1st floor of Seethakathi Chamber at 688, Anna Salai. Being on one of the main roads in the city means we are always in the middle of the action. You can hear the traffic and the horns all day long, even from the first floor. We are a trading company, so our work involves a lot of paperwork, phone calls, and coordinating between different people. The office is a regular space with desks, some filing cabinets, and a small area where we have our tea. It’s not a huge corporate headquarters, just a place where we get the business done. We deal with various goods and the market changes all the time, so we have to stay on our toes. The building itself is an older one and has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we are used to the rhythm of Anna Salai. Our team is small and we work closely together to manage the orders and the logistics. We don't use any corporate talk or try to sound like we are something we’re not. We just do the daily work of buying and selling and making sure the shipments go out on time. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We show up in the morning, handle the trades, and head home.
