Al- Adil Exports

Al- Adil Exports is located at No. 15, 6th Cross Street in the Lake Area of Nungambakkam. It is a busy part of Chennai. There are always people moving about and the streets are quite narrow around here. Our office is in a building that has been here for quite some time. We do export work, which means we spend a lot of time looking at shipping schedules and talking to people at the port. There are always stacks of documents on the desks. We have to make sure every paper is signed and stamped or the goods won't move. The air conditioner in the office struggles sometimes with the heat outside, so we have a couple of fans going too. It is a noisy place with the phones ringing and the street sounds coming through the windows. We don't have fancy furniture. Just some sturdy chairs and big tables where we can spread out the maps and the invoices. We go out for tea at the stall around the corner twice a day. It is a good way to clear your head. The work can be stressful when a boat is leaving and we are missing a signature, but we usually figure it out in the end. We just keep our heads down and handle one shipment at a time. It is a regular office doing regular trade work in a busy city.
