Achene is up on the 10th floor of the TNHB Housing complex, specifically the 'L' Block in Natesan Nagar West. It’s right there in Virugambakkam. Getting to the office can be a bit of a trip because the elevators take their time, but once you’re up there, you can see a good chunk of Chennai. We’re at No 9, and the space is basically just a few rooms filled with computers and files. It’s a TNHB building, so it has that government-housing feel, which is fine by us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. We just do our work. Most of the time it’s just the sound of keyboards and maybe a fan humming in the corner. Virugambakkam is a busy area, but being ten floors up keeps the street noise away. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Sometimes the water is an issue, or the power trips, but we’ve learned to work around those things. We handle whatever business comes through Achene without any fuss. It’s a practical setup for a practical company. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We are just a group of people working from a high-rise in Natesan Nagar, trying to get through the daily to-do list and making sure the files are in order before we head home.
