Our office is over at the Bannari Amman Complex, which is a pretty well-known spot here on the Mysore Trunk Road in Sathyamanagalam. Being in Sathy means we are away from the huge rush of the major cities, which is nice most of the time. The complex itself is a bit older, and we share the building with several other local businesses like a mobile shop and some auditors. The commute for us is usually quite easy as most of the staff lives within a few kilometers of the Erode district area. Inside Aakiela Technologies, it is quite simple. We have our workstations set up with some decent chairs, though one or two of them have a bit of a squeak when you move. We spend a lot of time on our systems and the internet is usually reliable, though it can act up when the weather gets bad during the monsoon. We have a small cupboard for our bags and a kettle for making coffee in the mornings. There is a lot of traffic on the trunk road outside, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background. We don't have any flashy signs or corporate decorations on the walls. It is just a straightforward place where we come to do our work and keep things running for the people who hire us. We like the local vibe of being in this part of Tamil Nadu.
