18Twentytwo Infolabs Private Limited

Our office is actually a row house in the DABC Habitat. It’s Row House No. 268 on the East Main Road in Polachery. This is out toward Ponmar, so it’s quite far from the central parts of Chennai. It’s much quieter here, which is nice for concentrating on work. 18Twentytwo Infolabs Private Limited is what we call ourselves. Since we are in a residential community, the atmosphere is very relaxed. We have two floors, with most of the work happening on the ground level. The upstairs is mostly for storage and taking a break. We have a small garden area in front that we try to keep alive, though the Chennai sun makes it hard. The street is wide and there are trees around, which you don't always get in the city. Most of us live nearby or don't mind the drive because it’s a pleasant area. We don't have a corporate lobby or anything like that. You just walk through the front door and you're in the office. We usually have music playing softly in the background. It feels more like a group of people working together than a formal company. We keep our own hours for the most part, as long as the work gets done. It’s a simple, quiet life out here in Polachery, and that’s exactly how we like it. We just do our tasks and enjoy the calm of the neighborhood.
