Woodapple Agrilife Farm Private Limited is tucked away on Kalaimagal Street in Anagaputhur. We are at Plot No 2, right in Sri Venkateswara Nagar. It’s a bit of a quiet area in Chennai, or at least as quiet as it gets around here. We deal with agricultural life and farming stuff, mostly focusing on how to keep things growing in this heat. It’s a lot of work, and some days the sun really beats down on us while we’re out there. We started this because we wanted to work with plants and land instead of sitting in a cubicle all day long. The office is just a small place where we keep our files and take a break. We don’t really do big meetings or have fancy titles for everyone. If something needs doing, one of us just goes and does it. Kancheepuram district has some good soil if you know where to look. We spend most of our time worrying about water and the next harvest. It's not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. Sometimes the paperwork for the private limited side of things gets annoying, but that's just how it is. We’ve been in this part of Chennai for a while now and the neighbors are used to seeing us hauling stuff back and forth. It’s a decent way to make a living and we stay busy every day of the week except Sundays. It's just a regular local business.
